Your road to success

Left or right, you are the student who has an affinity with data and acts like a true detective to understand the relationships between variables, uncover patterns, and detect anomalies. You will support the data scientists in translation of the Athlon business needs into the development, implementation and maintenance of machine learning models in order to facilitate data-driven decision making. This in line with business strategies and methodological procedures.You can do this as an applied data science & artificial intelligence student with full focus on:

data preparation (exploration, pre-processing and engineering).

predictive AI modelling with Azure Databricks.

communicating results with stakeholders.

hearing your ideas of new approaches we can adapt in our business.

It is not necessary to work in the office every day. We expect, after making yourself familiar with your colleagues and the tasks in the office, that you will mainly work from home. If necessary, there’s the option to work from our office in Almere. We will make sure you receive the right support and coaching by mail, telephone and by Microsoft Teams.

What do you take with you as applied data science & artificial intelligence student for at least 32 of hours per week? Absolutely your analytical skills, teamwork and collaboration. you are currently following an HBO/WO education in the direction of Applied Data Science & Artificial Intelligence or similar.

you have experience with Python.

you have good knowledge of econometrical and machine learning technics.

you have the ability to fine-tune machine learning models.

you are able to critically evaluate the outcome.
