Nemho employs over 70 technicians, engineers and chemists responsible for the development of new products and processes and for the continuous improvement of the product quality and production processes efficiency by implementing new and innovative technologies.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
As a process engineer / chemist, you will be contributing to the new product and process developments in resins, papers and production technologies for the Broadview Materials companies. Based on your insights and together with a diverse team of specialists, you will deliver opportunities for optimizations, synergies and standardizations in the impregnation and pressing processes in our factories and be instrumental in the execution of these opportunities. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of specialists, whereby depending on your experience and skill set, you can lead (sub-) projects for the team. A strong pragmatic, hands-on approach is required to be successful.
- Gain a clear understanding of our process by analyzing the situation in the Group factories.
- Create models to further standardize these processes in the different factories.
- Contribute to project descriptions and plans.· Inform or advise the R&D Manager in strategic planning and decision making.
- Contribute to innovative projects for the BVH materials technology companies.
- Execute project administration work and act as project leader of sub-assignments.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or another relevant field with preferably a strong background in polymer/resin chemistry.
- At least 3 years of relevant industrial working experience.Process engineering knowledge, scale-up processes experience preferred.Knowledge about thermosetting resin development as well as thermoplastics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to express complex technical concepts and innovate successfully together with an international team.
- Analytical thinker with a positive attitude.Fluent English; other languages are welcome.
You should be willing to travel for up to 30% of your time.
